Wouldn't be surprised if the "secret" was just them hinting that dlc will take place in or around the Vault.

True. I was thinking more like a hidden area or new addition that will be revealed with the dlc though.

There are at least 2 tunnels we have not explored in the Vault I'd you sparrow glitch in the Trials of Kabr you can see them.
