My whole disappointment is they didn't make my character feel like they mattered. You pick a race when you make a character and yet the game starts the same way regardless of race. (I heard there was going to be different story lines). I had an awoken titan when I first started playing. Met the queen. She made no mention of the fact that I am am awoken. Lolwut.
From what I've heard and read the story for Destiny seems quite intricate. It's sad that it didn't happen how it probably should have. I hope that TTK explains things more and has better story missions.

I can't imagine they backtrack and initiate origin stories at this point. But I do agree with you. I think at the core of our problem is the fact that there is no inherent reason to care about our guardian.

And with an rpg, caring for your character is one of the main reasons I think people play them. Mass effect is one of my favorite series. I liked how I could affect the world. Granted that was single player but you get the jist. Hopefully the way you pick up your third subclass is an epic quest chain.

I couldn't agree more. I'd LOVE to care more about my character. I'm normally an RPG guy myself. But I'll be finding out the quwst chains via youtube. Then I'll decide if I want to buy.
