I'm of the same mind with Fatebringer. Look, yes, they're the best in class, and not just because of the elemental damage. But you can survive most anything in the game just fine with a kinetic primary. It's just the difference between, say, a nice used car and a brand new one. That shoots arc Or solar damage haha.

  • Do you not end game ? I have a 365 badger scout with firefly and rodeo and now it collects dust...elemental primaries are a necessity for nightfall and poe

  • I do endgame (all but Skolas), and yes I use elementals for them, but I didn't start out that way. In fact the first bunch of normal and hard raids I did were with regular kinetic primaries -- it wasn't easy but was certainly achievable. And in POE I'll often use the latest acquired kinetic, just to unlock the perks. For the bosses though I obviously go elemental.

  • I'm with you actually. Elemental primaries are certainly helpful, but not necessary. If you have a kinetic primary that you're more comfortable with, I see no reason not to use it.
