When it comes to infantry and even vehicular combat, Star Wars would have the advantage. However, Halo would win due to the sheer power and scale of some of the weapons. Also, the Flood.

Both are the second most technologically advanced in their series. Both have relics everywhere and machine armies. Both have ships and armor that look relatively the same. Both have massive machines that ultimately helped with their downfall. Both are destroyed by a crippling disease.

If you think that's how wars work, you're gravely mistaken. One Jedi can take down a AT-AT. On Spartan can take down a Scarab. A very skilled Jedi could take down Spartans, Scarabs, and almost anything else alike. The only think that really makes Halo win are the Halo Rings, and that's barely a win. That's more like both sides lose.

What about the Arbiter. They had the ability of dismantling entire armies. During the grunt rebellion and with the disgraced arbiter in halo legends. It would take a pretty bad ass Jedi to kill one.

It would, true, but there were many who could. The Jedi and Sith are ridiculously overpowered outside of their own lore.

Now you got me thinking about every possible outcome. You know how a plasma pistol can emp enemies and etc. You think a plasma pistol hit could turn off a light saber?

No, I doubt it. Lightsabers endure electrical, plasma, and laser-based attacks with ease. They might not deflect the shot back since it's less refined (while a plasma repeater or rifle along with a beam rifle and carbine rifle might get deflected) but it would stop it.

A plasma pistol would disable things with a more conventional power source but a lightsaber comes from the crystal so Idk.
