On the one that you have clown cartridge and luck in the chamber work against each other. If it were me I would re roll it, vanilla or not.

thats the plan just wanted to know if there were particular retired perks that were better than current ones

Tbh I'm not 100% sure. I think the biggest one that got removed was field scout which was great on heavys.
