Yes the level matters crap is such a load. and I also got dropped into every dead match on the planet. I don't honestly think they have enough players left Here is why. My son had the xbox 1 so I thought heck it is just crucible I will go up and play it on the 360. So I did some and thought heck I will get my Crota Hard mode done. Checked on LFG for a team last evening....Nothing at all. Checked some other raids nothing at all. Checked it again this morning just for giggles nothing. Got a team on the one to do it but noticed there were not many listings there either and if you do find a team it likely won't be experineced players. You are sure that a couple will never have done a raid. What that says to me is all the game vets are slowily going away. I know everyone declairs this game dead all the time but it sure does seem like it is and has lost a lot of players.

You're trying to find a vog or Crota raid, but everyone has already fully completed those. Look for PoE or something.

The leveling matters. I played in a match where I had a level 21 and 27 on my team and they combined for 1 kill and 9 assists. Mostly because they couldn't damage anyone.

Have never researched that but what about weapon levels? 300, 331, 365. Has any one sen any difference in those in the banner? In my stuff I don't see any difference between running as a 32 vs a 34 in terms of level. Might just be too subtle to notice though.

I don't think that 30+ would have an effect. But when you start getting to to level 20-25 you're doomed. In between 25-30 a skilled player seems to do alright, but lower it doesn't matter. A guy from Reddit took a level 20 in "for science" and posted his results. https://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyTheGame/comments/3bp7t8/i_brought_a_level_20_into_ib_for_science/
