Just a question...have you ever bought a trilogy of movies like say Nolan's Batman Trilogy. You bought each movie on day one of it's DVD release for say $25 each. Then 6 months after the third movie is released a collectors edition is released including all 3 movies plus some collectable stuff for like $50. How is that any different than this? People routinely pay more for the sake of convenience. You and anyone else could have waited to play Destiny until the final expansion was released and you could have gotten this same deal. However, you and others like myself wanted to play Destiny and the expansions at launch. We paid more so we could have it now. Everything depreciates over time. The bargain price for first time players is smart. They want to expand their player base. If you are truly unhappy then go ahead and boycott. It's your decision. Have a good day.

I could care less about the collector's edition. I'm a player not a collector. The consumer has the right to not purchase something that they feel is overpriced. You can wait 6 months to a year for a price drop, but you will be choosing to wait. People pay more to play now, others wait and pay less. This is true for any purchase. Also, I'm not so sure the collector's edition is that overpriced. $20 for the base game, $10 each for CE and HoW, and then $40 for TTK for a total of $80. I think they are asking $90 for it. Not too far off...
