What do you mean "Do the story"? Like the daily? Ive completed the whole story. I dont see how that could fix the issue with Black Wax Idols just not dropping.

The campaign, the hive storys on the moon probably will drop black wax idols

It seems like Silken Codex or bust. Also seems like I'm not the only person who has come across this issue atm.
