Goku by himself, then yes. Sure. But everytime Vegeta gets involved his arrogance screws everything up and takes everything from bad to worse for his side. If Vegeta is involved, the Destiny universe wins.

If vegita is there he will insist on fighting first and goku would agree. Whatever happens to vegita from that point on doesn't matter. The worst thing for the"destiny universe" would be killing vegita.

Goku is the one who allowed Buu to live while SSJ3 so that the other fighters would have a chance to protect the earth, since holy knew he wouldn't always be there. So much for that plan.
