Serves him right, he's an idiot. Not only did he basically say that Mexicans are the only illegals that cross our borders, but he said that most of them come to do harm. You can't fix stupid, people definitely need to learn a few things. He definitely proves that money can't buy everything, because clearly he's missing a brain.
And for people saying that immigrants commit more crimes:
But harsh immigration policies are not effective in fighting crime because—as numerous studies over the past 100 years have shown—immigrants are less likely to commit crimes or be behind bars than the native-born, and high rates of immigration arenot associated with higher rates of crime. This holds true for both legal immigrants and the undocumented, regardless of their country of origin or level of education.
Need more?
In fact, most research, such as a 2008 report by University of California sociologist Ruben Rumbaut for the Police Foundation National Conference, finds that immigrants, including undocumented ones, are less prone to crime than are native-born Americans. Rumbaut finds that the incarceration rate of American-born males between 18 and 39 years of age was five times the rate of foreign-born males, and finds similar conclusions in a survey of other studies on the topic.
Actually they have it wrong: entering our country is a crime therefore they all committed crimes.
-
Little known fact, I wrote an essay awhile a back about illegal immigration, and I found out it was originally the u.s government that encouraged Mexicans to come to the u.s and started that whole trend of people crossing the border.
-
Yep, this country was built off immigrants. Sad to see the things people say. Especially without having any information to back them up.
Yep, this country was built off immigrants. Sad to see the things people say. Especially without having any information to back them up.
Indeed. Especially when all the Europeans came to america and murdered the local population.

Mexicans aren't the only illegals, you still have those damn dirty Canadians.
b8. No h8. Just r8 the b8 and move on m8.
-
Kek....I'd probably be someone to illegally cross the border to Canada if trump is elected.

Gr8 b8 m8. Defin8ly 8/8

They are lawbreakers from the start by coming here illegally.
-
Do you know the process to become a citizen?
-
I, of course, have never had to go through the process, but I do know there is a very long wait and it takes a very long time to become a citizen. But I have studied the naturalization process, yes.
-
So how much is it for just the application?
-
Probably a lot. So your point is that because it is too hard for someone to become a citizen legally, which people have been doing since this nations founding, that they should just break the law? Thousands of people have sacrificed to become a citizen of this nation. Letting illegals in is a slap in their face. Why have any rules at all?
-
Edited by Savage Coconut: 7/3/2015 4:35:46 AMClearly you don't know the process, so like most Americans you are misinformed. Not only that, you think you have more of a right to live here then someone else. Just because you mom opened her legs, laid down on a bed & popped you out of her vagina, doesn't mean you're more entitled to be here then someone else. What I think is funny, is the fact that so many people complain about how immigrants that come here, "taking our jobs, abusing or system, not deserving to be here because they broke the law." Let's take a look at facts, shall we. I know it's not something you're use to but I'll try and brake it down so you can understand. Immigrants taking jobs First let's understand the basics before I show supporting information. Of course they take US jobs, that's the country their in, kinda silly to say they're not. Also keep in mind that they're not hanged these jobs on a silver platter, the corporations are the ones hiring them. Immigrants do jobs that most people don't want to do (labor intensive). Most of the time they are paid less, not because they want to, but because people take advantage. Now facts, this is in MA, but does show how the increase in immigrants affects us.
-Berkshire County has shown a shrinking labor force over the past few years and needs immigrant labor to fill jobs. -Between 2000 and 2004, 511 % of employment growth in Massachusetts was due to new immigrants. -Immigrants now make up 17% of the Massachusetts labor force. -Immigrants are extremely hard working often taking on 2-3 jobs to support family both in the U.S. and abroad. -Immigrants often fill labor-intensive jobs that American citizens are not choosing to do. link
Immigrants abusing the system Want to complain about people abusing the system, complain about you're own citizens. Most people on welfare are white & black. Hispanics come in 3rd & other races make up less percentage. Immigrants coming illegally They have just as much of a right to be here than anyone else, sad world we live in where people think they're special because of where they were born. Living conditions in their country are horrible and the average wage they make is under $2. This forces them to work extreme hours & bad jobs to still not make enough to get by. But why don't they go thru the legal process to become a citizen, you ask? The answers quite simple actually, just for the application form it's $680. This doesn't include the price for an lawyer. Idk about you, but if I was making $2/hour coming by that money would be pretty tough. Especially if you're trying to provide for your family & put food on the table. Not only that, but people take advantage of immigrants trying to apply for citizenship. There are a number of cases of lawyers taking these people's hard earned money & the people can't say anything about it because they live with the fear of being deported. Am I saying to let every immigrant into this country, no, not at all. But the laws for immigration are outdated and no longer accurate to get the job done. They need to be updated, a simple time period to allow them to come up with the money to pursue the legal process would encourage many to do it the right way. It's easy to talk about something when you don't live they it because you don't fully understand it. And I'd hate to knock you off your high horse princess, but you're no better than anyone else. And if you're even going to bother replying, use facts, I don't want your opinion. Look it's cute how he's defending them lmaooo
-
First of all, I don't appreciate you talking to me like I'm a freaking dumb child. Second, living here in America is a privilege, not a right. America is made of immigrants. We need immigrants. But we don't need people who are going to be lawbreakers. I'm sorry if that offends you. But it's true. Some illegal immigrants come and live peaceably. That still doesn't change the fact that they came here illegally. And yeah. I do have more of a right to live here than they do. I was born and raised here. Most of these people don't even speak English. I can't blame them for wanting to live here, but we have laws and they need to be followed.
-
If we have a right to live here then he has a right to educate you. Whether you appreciate it or not.
-
Again I don't want your opinion & I'm not talking to you like a child. Just making sure you understood what I said, which clearly you didn't. If all you have to say is their braking the law, that's hardly a argument. Hundreds, if not thousand, of citizens do that everyday & all they get is a slap on the wrist & back into society they go. Come up with something else to say.
-
No, you were talking to me as if I was some dense stupid person that just couldn't grasp the concept of what you are trying to say. And you still think I just can't grasp your grand thoughts. If you don't agree with me then fine, but I'm not going to argue with someone who insults my intelligence.
-
I didn't insult you at all, if that's all your taking out of this, then you wasted my time. You choose to comment, I asked you a question. You answered that you knew the process which clearly you didn't & I informed you on it. Did I say I'd break out down for you to understand, yes, is that an insult, no. You clearly didn't understand my first question, so I said I'd brake things down from you. If you don't want to have a discussion with someone, don't comment, especially if you don't know about the subject. Stop trying to turn this into something else, if you have nothing to say about what we were discussing, don't say anything. No need to whine about me "insulting your intellect," when that's not what I did.

Most of them DO do harm
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) estimated that as of fiscal year 2009 the total alien—non- U.S.-citizen—population was about 25.3 million, including about 10.8 million aliens without lawful immigration status.

The number of criminal aliens in federal prisons in fiscal year 2010 was about 55,000, and the number of SCAAP criminal alien incarcerations in state prison systems and local jails was about 296,000 in fiscal year 2009 (the most recent data available)
You were saying?
-
So out of 10 million known to be here illegally, 350,000 were put in jail for criminal activities. And those were just the ones that were caught.

Lol just cling onto your most, it's fine
