  • Not sure, never heard of form. It was described to me when I was learning as more of a style of movement than anything, sound similar?

  • Haha fair point. But that was the general feel, no particular stances to learn, just relaxed and ready and stood straight. No named moves or throws, more about countering your opponent whilst keeping your centre balanced and centre throughout. A little bit like judo with using your opponents weight against them but much less grapply. Training tends to be incredibly punishing, more than I'd seen in "traditional" martial arts classes, push ups on solid wood floors on your knuckles etc
