Does anybody here main legendary primaries when they play the crucible? I have my set up equipped, check it out. The reason I ask is because if you use a legendary in the crucible, how are you dealing with Thorn and Last Word? Any advice for how I should use my load-out to my advantage?

The messenger is really good. With perfect balance you can 2 burst people all day long.

I actually have the Hopscotch Pilgrim. The stats of it and the Messenger are identical except for range, which the Messenger has more of.

Messenger, scholar, fang, salvation state, and jewel are what I use. Obviously a shotgun/sniper dependent on map. Really I find messenger to be godly and if I'm running an exotic primary I'm usually with mida or hawkmoon.

Pulse Rifles, usually, but sometimes I just get fed up and use my Handcannons. I hate what Thorn has become.

I know that this will sound weird, but the Eidolon Ally with as much range as possible and Saterienne rapier are really good weapons. And no, it's not a joke.

Now I only use trials weapons am armor for my warlock. Unless I'm trying something new (Elder cipher weapons) the only exotic I use is my Trials Emblem.

I've learned to counter these exotics with Jewel and The Scholar, while it is still tough, its not impossible. The feeling you get when you beat a wielder of Thorn or TLW with you're Jewel is an awesome feeling. Best thing is, THEY WILL NEVER SEND YOU HATE MAIL, lol.

Without using those exotics you usually have to get the drop on them. Or just strafe and hope. "Speak your lesson and say it true… I do not aim with my hand. But what about just keeping it all at long range? I understand Thorn has some good range, but LW can't really compete.

Yea right I snipe people with TLW all the time. Just gotta pick your shots instead of holding the trigger.
