You have a point, but it's not the same concept. These companies that do this with movies are typically releasing a new movie in the series, a whole new movie. Where Bungie is only releasing a DLC for a game for pretty damn near the same price. Now before you go "Oh, but there is so much content this is basically a whole new game." Just shut the -blam!- up. If it was a whole new game we would have 3 NEW characters, with 2 new subclasses per character, 4 all new planets to explore, several new resources to gather, hundreds of new weapons and gear, 3 all new enemy's to fight, a dozen or so pvp maps, a raid, and a couple strikes. See how that is actually equivalent and worth $60 dollars, but what they are giving us is 1 new "planet" (which is actually a ship in the rings of Saturn), a single new pvp map, 1 new subclass per character, some new weapons and gear, and the same model of enemy we already have just turned "dark side." Then to add insult to injury they go and say, "Hey guys, look, we are sorry you are mad about not getting the exclusives. So here they are for a $20 'upgrade', but oh, you need to buy TKK before you can use any of it." Even with that, $60 bucks is a load of -blam!-ing shit. What they are offering is worth $20 at most, with MAYBE, just maybe a $10 add-on for the extra content. But even then, they already -blam!-ed shit up.
