Can Xur sell the gjallarhorn
Since Xur has only sold everybody's favorite rocket launcher once in the history of Destiny and that was the second week the game was out when most people didn't have enough coins to buy it or didn't realize how good it is I'm beginning to feel like Bungie might have removed it from his list of possibilities each week because after almost a year so many people could buy it and I feel like it would break the game. Anyone have a confident answer? Can Xur still sell the gjallarhorn?

4 RepliesComing from someone who DOESN'T have it, I say no. It takes the magic away from actually earning it. I mean, everyone knows where to farm for it. It's a pain in the ass, to be sure. But you know what? When you finally get it, you feel like you actually accomplished something. That all the times you screamed at your tv in anger and threw your controller in a tantrum fit for a toddler, you finally got one of the best exotics you could ever hope for. So, no... I say those of us who haven't rightfully earned it shouldn't be given special privilege to buy one. So stuff it, n00bs!

It was on Bungie a while ago, but they took GHorn out after the first time and said they are never putting it back in. They also did it to the Icebreaker but they decided the Icebreaker wasn't a big game changer( and alot of people were having a meltdown) so they kept icebreaker in his inventory. But yeah good luck trying to get your G horn Lol

I've been playing this game close to the very beginning and still have not gotten a gjallarhorn. I have gotten about 2 dragon's breath and just recently from this nightfall I got the Truth finally. But I would love to have gjallarhorn for the main reason of pve. With people nagging to only have gjallarhorn to play. But I would myself, not want Xur to sell gjallarhorn for the reason. That it is a exotic you need to wait for, to truly find it is unique. He'll I'm a guy with a kid before marriage and shit I would love to wait on this gun!

I've only had my g-horn for like a month. Got mine out of a gold tier package fro trials the first week of trials. Was so excited. If I didn't I probably would ask for the same. Now I appreciate the struggle and the grind for it. These extra rare items enhance the game. Gives it a mythical aspects.

1 ReplyAs long as bungie keeps it in the weekly nightfall drop chance pool, I say no way homies. One of my buddies got it 2 weeks ago from a nightfall completion. I frowned for a split second but then was so happy for him... My luck will hopefully come soon....
