Old Iron Banner Gear
So just for our OCD disorder and completionist sake of looking cool, is there a way Bungie could bring back the old Iron regalia gear? I mean, I'm literally just a pair of gloves away from completing the set, and it looks sick. Possibly like Trials, where you could win it at random?

1 ReplyIt'd be nice if the NPC stock refresh actually did something other than refresh bounties. We've had three sets of gear go through the Crucible/Vanguard. Why don't they just alternate which types of gear they sell? They do it with the Speaker after all, with the different class items he sells. I don't see why they can't do it with the 'old' gear either. Some of us like the old stuff, and it's even worthwhile now since we can upgrade everything with etherics. It'd be nice if we could sort of pick and stylize our Guardians however we want and not just with however the current expansion dictates.

Would it be possible for him to sell it for the first 36 hours and then change to the new gear for the rest of the week? That way, the determined players can get the gear and the players that want it less won't have to do the grind for it.

I ended up with everything except the helmet. Which is fine, the design wasn't that great.

1 ReplyProbably just too much work for them. Given what they've done before (see eight month patch), I get the picture of the Bungie guys turning up to work, doing something for about ten minutes, and then taking a nap until quitting time.

This a million times. I mean, why not? I missed the head the ONE time it was offered, and I may have gone for it (despite finals, lol) if I had known that there was randomly going to be a change.
