The Great Shardening Mk II Approacheth
The next dlc will bring us new weapons, and I could still use a solar hand cannon. BUT...
35 / 36 weapon slots full in the vault.
Characters are hauling
26 / 27 Primaries
26 / 27 Specials
24 / 27 Heavies
At least 31 of these are "disposable" duplicates. I'm getting tired of waiting for vault space, particularly when the Mouth of Bungie makes it clear that it's not a high priority to them. So the question is this; and this goes to all us collectors-
Should we loose the hounds of destruction on our duplicates, no matter how much it hurts?

Shortly after receiving no posts here I decided to delete a full set of VoG weapons and some duplicate exotics, as well as make some room in my postmaster. Storage is still an issue though.

No Need to keep duplicates. Use a Loadouts App: "Loadouts for destiny" (iOS) <-- My Choice "Tower Ghost" (Android) "Destiny Item Manager DIM (Google chrome)

No reason for duplicates. I use one set of weaponry between all my characters.

Already deleted all duplicates. As well as anything I don't use. I was a collector but it simply isn't possible anymore. And the load outs app for iPhone makes everything really easy

1 ReplyHow many weapons do you use on a regular basis? I dismantle almost every new legendary these days. 1 out of 15 might be an upgrade for one of my current guns...maybe....after I re-roll it. I have so many useless legendary weapons it's ridiculous. I also have a few exotics I never touch like Hardlight, DB, NLB, SGA, etc. collecting dust. I Also have a few triplicates on all toons like IB, Gjally, Fang, swordbreaker, thorn, suros, invective, juju, oversoul, etc, and still have room for more. The vault is plenty big enough unless you're a hoarder.

1 ReplyAs far as weapons go, there is no reason to keep more than one of anything. Between the website and the app it's easy to move things around.

I usually delete my duplicates. Don't need two Gjallarhorn's and Icebreakers.

The only way to hold out for more space is to stop playing untill TTK, and even then it's not guaranteed we'll even get any. I know it hurts, but sometimes you have to make the tough decision and shard.
