The Vulture Error code has nothing to do with Cockatiel. This issues are unrelated, so lets start with the first.
This can only occur in a few instances. If you've been absent (AFK) for too long and the game logs you out, you will receive this error. If you have been logged in on a different console, you will receive this. If your xbox live subscription ran out, you may receive this error. If your console isn't communicating (authenticating) with the Microsoft servers, it will appear that you are not signed in, and you will receive this error.
Can you verify that you have a valid, Xbox live membership? If so, are you in "good-standing" with Microsoft, i.e. have you been banned? Can you play online games with other games?

I guess no one read the part about authenticating with Microsoft servers. If you've ghetto ass internet then it's possible your console is dropping connection to the Xbox servers mid-raid/strike. You should try switching providers and see what happens. Also, to OP, don't be an asshole when people like Vexed are attempting to help. It seems like most people on here know more than you do.

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Vulture does not only occur in these instances. I have received vulture whilst actively playing in Nightfall, raids and POE. My account is very much active, I am actively playing and I certainly haven't decided to switch consoles while in the midst of a match! Unless you know what you are talking about, stop providing useless technical support.

Mr. Oracle to all information(thinking he knows everything) I've tried all those options: -I've contacted Xbox live and made sure my account was all good with the subscription -yes I can play other games( do I want to? NO!) -I've purchased a new Xbox because of this error so once again you are wrong. STOP fingering bungie's balls.... They need to fix this on my account they shouldn't have players that have a perfect playable account speak for them like they know what they are talking about

Your on crack or some other form of drug . I see players that directly get "DC'd" out of my game right before I get vulture'd I see get "Cockateil".
