Can a goddamn RPG come out that people don't compare to Skyrim? People act like that game invented the genre when in fact, it added nothing new.

It is made by the same people, though. Not disagreeing with you, though. Skyrim was casul as fak.

That's not why people compare it though. They compare it because it's the only RPG they know & therefore the only RPG that exists.

Everybody starts at something. Skyrim was a very popular game, and most of the people that talk about skyrim are quite young. Once they become more cultured, skyrim will have had little to no impact on how they view the rpg genre.

Everyone does start out somewhere, that is true. However, Skyrim fans typically epitomize the word [i]fanboy[/i] and it drives me fffking nuts. This forum in particular is plagued by it.
