Deej is JUST DOING SOME DAMAGE CONTROL. Nothing else. So don't think that he is some sort of hero that is sticking it to corporate management cuz he's not. Bungie and/or activision probably told him to buy some time and make the public feel better. Don't get fooled by his comments, it's just all corporate damage control.
Edit 1: remove the #deejesus he doesn't deserve it.

Of course he's doing that, that's his job ;-) Seriously, I thing that there are some serious discussions happening at Bungie/Activision how to fix this mess. That's IMHO the reason why we will have to wait till Friday (corporate discussions take time ...)
