You see that Last Word you got in your inventory? Use it on small maps with a shotgun.
Use Red Death for bigger maps. Other than that, it's just going to take practice. It wasn't an easy experience for me either but I did learn how to succeed. It just takes some practicing.

I've never owned this weapon. I was in a raid where it dropped for somebody else. Why would it show the card as unlocked if I've never owned one?

I don't have The Last Word. Should have bought it when Xur had it a couple of weeks ago.
