Theres no way we deal with the traveler in destiny 1. It'll be towards the end of the games lifespan

I would agree, but we're also killing the Hive's most [i]powerful[/i] deity in Destiny 1. I assumed Oryx would be a Destiny 3 thing.

The Hive have a Pantheon system. Oryx and Crota are like Greek gods and their demigod children. You can kill a pair, but there are more.

It'll be cool if we almost kill him and he just gets up and out ghost say "run guardian he's too much" and the whole raid team have to run away from oryx and get out. [spoiler]we only weakened him[/spoiler]

I think it would be interesting and have basically that one "oh shit" moment everyone is waiting for.

Maybe we'll actually lose. That would be awesome if the end was actually him kicking our ass and we need to fall back on guarrila tactics lack the strangers faction. Would be a great set up for destiny 2, having to slowly retake our worlds.
