I doubt it. Apparently they told the longtime writer he should seek out other projects for the next couple years.
I'm assuming they're waiting for the next console release so there's more space.

I've heard many different stories regarding Paul. Paul Dini is a major writer in the Batman universe thanks to his involvment with Batman TAS, they wouldn't be dumb enough to send him away.
