We're near Houston.
Bummer. Can't help you with that one. Now if you get to Dallas/Fort Worth I'd say visit the Texas School Book Repository - Dealy Plaza, and H3 Ranch bar & grill in the Fort Worth historic stock yards. Undeniably THE BEST STEAK I have ever had in my entire life. I was down there about 10 years ago to visit a friend and go to a NASCAR race at the Texas Motor Speedway.

 • Best steak in Texas is Lowake Steak House near San Angelo. There is no arguing against it. The juiciest, most tender Sirloin I've ever eaten was there. It's a tiny little resteraunt that used to be a farm house and it's way out in the boonies.

 • Cool. I haven't been anywhere besides Brownsville (college trip) and Dallas / FW for short periods of time.
