Hell, you don't even need the precision scope on anything but the largest of maps. I haven't used it since I unlocked the other one.
With the combat scope you can still one shot people from very long distances with the added bonus of no scope glint. Plus hitting head shots is super easy with the 3 dot combat scope. Just put your target's head between the dots and hidden hand will do the rest.

Ya i haven't maxed it out yet or used it in crucible but just messing around on patrol would be helpful.

I hear ya. Also, take it into the crucible. It's a beast once you get used to the charge rate. Careful when trying to counter snipe though. You'll need to pre charge behind cover and pop out to fire so you don't get pegged while you're charging.
