Anyone had Husk of the Pit drop since HOW DLC.
Been farming Fist of Crota for a while now and still no luck. I got the Husk once before but dismantled it, not knowing its use. It seems this gun is now more rare than She's my Nerd graciously accepting defeat.

2 RepliesWell, with over 870 kills on the Blades of Crota, and from extensive reading on the subject, I can offer you a few pieces of advice. First of all, the Husk will definitely still drop if you've found it before, as countless people claim to have gotten more than one Husk. Additionally, as I have never received a Husk, I can definitely say that your seemingly poor luck is not a result of your past error. Despite confirmation from a few people that the Husk still drops (a few mentors say that it's very rare, but none claim to have seen the drop themselves since HoW, and 1-2 people who I've seen say that they have gotten it since the update), I'm still very paranoid and concerned that it may not be dropping anymore at all. With that said, I'm still optimistic and actively farming, so keep me updated on whether you happen to get the Husk.

Deej with all his might and strength tried to fight off the rabid goons from Activision, but his efforts fell short. He was then turned into a Taken, agreeing with everything cooperate told him. Sorry man, life in the cooperate jungle is tough.

1 ReplyI feel your pain. It used to fall like rain, but now that I have the crux I can't get it to drop. Been farming Fist of Crota for about 30 runs thus far.

Yes you do get it I have gotten it plenty of times before but I dismantle it because it just is a total poop fest

I had it drop 3x, but that was before HoW update and back when the blades used to spontaneously appear while on patrol missions.

I haven't managed to find this gun since the HoW dlc. So either its damn rare to get now or when they took the blades away from patrol it also removed the drop for the husk....
