I can practically guarantee none of what you (and myself actually) would like to see will happen. Nobody cares about the Story. Not the PvPers Bungie systematically caters to and in fact not even Bungie themselves. The PvP fanatics? ALL they are doing lately is WHINING about Thorn being OP in the Crucible and the Trials of Osiris and DEMANDING she be NERFED. That and lusting after freaking GHorn keeps their little minds occupied. As for Bungie? Certainly you have heard of the Story details and content they chose to just leave out of the original release right? From the Ghost Shells to "Old Chicago" and on and on. Fix the base? An awesome and sorely needed idea. But no that will not happen with the Taken King. For 40 damn dollars it very well SHOULD, but I sincerely doubt that it will.

My thought on the matter is that these sorts of details can be both for the masses and for us, they're the kind of improvements that are there if you want. Those that like the game how it is, won't be too affected. Those of us that want he exploration, that want the depth - can have it. So I will voice my opinion until it's listened to.

I'm trying to blind myself to that reality lmao By discussing it with people in the community, it's nice to see I'm not the only one worried about it. I love the game and believe the spam that is being fed to Bungie through social media and forums is exactly what you mentioned (Thorn, etc) and it really shouldnt be. At least in my opinion. I doubt it will too, but at least it's nice to know others are thinking the same thing :D
