Neat. I know I could ask Google first, but how are photos colourised? Is this an interest of yours?

As far as I know it's a long and complicated process if done digitally. Not sure how the ones linked in the OP were done though >.> I just like photography in general. Find stuff like this interesting because they seem more 'real' than the usual black and white images that we're used to from that time.
