The nicotine is still in your system. Nicotine can negatively affect the circulatory system and has been found to even increase the risk of atherosclerosis. They are still doing studies on the safety of e cigs. This is why the FRA does not consider for the time being e cigs as "healthy substitute" for smoking.

Lol, you have to understand that drinking coffee can land you the same side affects. And the FDA hasn't released anything yet, but are looking into it. It doesn't help that an industry with as much money as the tobacco industry has is trying to smear the entire idea of vaping since they're losing money from it. Look the thing is, the research part is a moot point. If you know what is in your liquid, you're fine. We know this because we know how these ingredient affect our bodies because they're either natural, or time tested. The entire idea that "vaping isn't time tested so it's not safe" is a campaign by big tobacco companies plain and simple. We know what's in it, we know what it does, and it doesn't take a brainiac to figure that out.

And again, you fail to notice that TOBACCO COMPANIES manufacture e cigs. Some medical organizations are concerned that this is an attempt of tobacco companies to make smoking popular again, destroying decades of educational programs. But fortunately, if the medical communoty continues to find negative effects of e cigs on health, the governments will regulate it righty with strong education programs of health risks. Because fortunately the medical and scientific community have the biggest say on what is safe or not. And whether you like it o not, a lot of studies are getting attention on the negative effects of nicotine and e cigs.

Show me these studies! And no, tobacco companies are not the ones producing the e-cigs. Some companies have created a line of e-cigs to counter the competition, but for the most part, they're trying to smear the e-cig industry because with the rise of E-Cig's, tobacco companies get LESS money. Most E-juice companies and e-cigarette companies are relatively small, proprietorships and LLC's. There's currently no big leading corporations/monopolizing, because it's a very individualized industry full off new products and capitalistic ventures being fulfilled due to higher and higher demand as more knowledge comes out about how safe they are compared to cigarettes. You seriously have a flawed view of what is going on in the e-cig industry currently and I suggest you do some research before you try to argue out of your ass to someone who vapes.

I'm busy now but if you want some studies and statements from health organizations I'll come back and post them in a couple of hours

And whether you like it or not, they are getting money for these studies. You don't know what's in it. Wait don't tobacco companies manufacture e cigs? Also they are doing studies on the long term effects of inhaling propylene. In Canada, and America im pretty sure, it's illegal to make any claims that e cigs are safe and the science validates it. They are still doing studies. Big you don't believe me, find any advertisement that e cigs are safer than coffee.

Just because it is not as worse does not mean it does not have any negstive effects. I remind you it is illegal to market e cigs as safer than reg cigs because of lack of data. And whether you like it or not medical and health organizations are pressing goverents to tightly regulate them like regular cigs

Please bring me a definitive study that has concluded these as dangerous. Since their invention they have become a billion dollar industry, and rising, and multiple studies have been conducted. Do you see anything definitive whatsoever? No. You can't market them safer than something that is FDA regulated if they aren't FDA regulated. That doesn't mean they aren't safer, that means they aren't FDA regulated. If you think that's a measure of how unsafe they are, realize that you can build an e cig and make the juice with all FDA regulated materials All you're doing is forwarded the same scare tactics that is putting a bad name on the industry. "Oh we aren't sure because it's not regulated." "We don't know what these ingredients do to us" (even though we do) etc. And Ofcourse these companies are going to start trying to get into the e cig industry, that should be a show of the fact that they are actually safe, so they're making an initial investment to save their own asses in the couple years when there are regulations and more e cigs are being used than normal cigs because they'll be declared safer.

And I remind you big tobacco companies are creating their own e cigs brands. Makes no sense for them to be against it if they are selling e cigs. Rj Reynolds and Philips Morris both have their own e cig brands and huge investments in selling them....

Nicotine is one of the most addictive drugs. Caffeine is one of the least addictive drugs. Stop comparing the two. 1/3 get hooked on nicotine, which is more than the addictive rate of alcohol(1/10) or cocaine (1/6)
