Did you even read what he posted? I'm not denying he isn't inflicted with said Disease. I'm saying he's using it as a means to pity himself.

He isn't asking for help. By asking for help it be like would there be some helpful guardians to help me run so and so. He's outright asking for stuff to be given to him cause of his disability that wouldn't benefit him anyhow cause he'll still die due to his SMA. There's plenty of other players with disabilities that came here and didn't post asking for free stuff. They wanted to earn it just like the rest of us. What they did ask for was some help from players and maybe a way to reconfigure the controls. If he's had helpful players help him what's stopping him from asking those same helpful people. That's why I'm saying he's asking for pity.

Cause anyone with a disability wouldn't want you to pity and look down on em. They want to be treated normally and not have any special treatment. I'm not being heartless just real and not empathetic towards his situation. I have a mentally incapacitated cousin. She wouldn't want people to pity her either.

He's not trying to be pitied! He just wants help! He just wants the community and Bungie to help him get the gear he desperately wants. Let me tell you something: I'm autistic, luckily I'm high functioning so I'm still able to excel at the game. But what if I was severely affected like my friends at school? What if I still had a passion for gaming? I just may do the same thing Tyler is doing. He just wants to be assisted in his future endeavors.

He's asking for free stuff. Asking for assistance in the form of free stuff. You don't seem to get it. You wouldn't need to show proof if you believe Bungie would help you in good faith. But no he's putting his SMA at the forefront as to why he should get these items. I feel for him sure. I've ran across another playing who only has one hand to play with. Never once asked for anything other than an option to make the controls configured for playing with one hand. Never once bitched about his short comings. So that's why I think he's seeking pity.
