Prometheans are just not fun to fight Covenant had smart, cunning AI The teleporting bullshit is not appealing to me, neither is the reviving each other, hated Prometheans in H4 campaign H4's forge was good though, that's all I liked about the game-- dominion is also an amazing game mode, base turrets and shields were the shit I wish destiny had forge

Prometheans were actually really cool to fight against. They were as challenging as one would expect Forerunner soldiers to be.
-
neither is the reviving each other
did you ever fight the flood? and the pure forms in halo 3 basically teleported away the way they jumped and could climb anything
-
Frankie confirmed it's not didact.

Edited by Haruspis: 6/13/2015 6:58:22 PMEdit (again): He confirmed that the Forerunner figure on the poster was not the Didact, but on the scale chart you can see what looks like the Composed Ur-Didact's new form - disconnected joints and whatnot, in-keeping with Promethean designs.

1) Do we know if it's official 2) do we know that this isn't just an art mistake, 3) do we know that this is representative of everything in Halo 5 (unless the tower is in the game too)
-
1) As I recall, it's been used by Greenskull, who went to play the game and received official images to use, so I would say it's genuine. 2) I highly doubt it, since the other silhouettes are all consistent. 3) Not sure why they chose the space needle :P but this was the first thing to show what I assume will be the the Armiger (Promethean Soldier) from Hunters in the Dark.

Not to kill your fun but the Didact is not confirmed he was in the video to provide scale. Nothing more has been confirmed.
-
I don't recall the Didact having floating limbs and disconnected joints.

True but in his composed form there's no reason to believe he couldn't have been either picked up by his splinter group or downloaded himself to a body/monitor form or other and could now be downloading his mind/essence into dormant Guardians and using them to wipe out human colonies on those planets. Re uploading himself to his new body and going to the next colony.
-
He appeared in the comics that tell the story after Halo 4.
He also killed black team...
-
True enough I was pertaining to Halo5 there's been no release or evidence that he will feature though after being composed I suspect the covenant somehow recovered his 'essence' and he is the one using the guardians to wipe out human colonies.

Are there Promethean Knights in the game cause they are -blam!-ing hard on Legendary more hard than a Promethean Soldier

So the canon breaking continues.
