When it's there I play it, but when a game is lacking that kind of mode, I don't miss it. There's a certain balance that needs to be struck between enhancing the survivalist themes and feel of the game versus turning it into The Sims: Wasteland Edition.

You may be right, although I find it strange that in Fallout 3 you were always being reminded how dreary and hopeless the wasteland can be and yet your just carelessly sipping irradiated water like its nothing. I'm just saying, a sense of realism for Fallout 4 can never hurt.
