They didn't, although when removing it specifically forHardcore mode that is tbd. I'd prefer not to however, I love the vats system and I'm looking for a realistic Fallout, and not one that's just makes it more difficult. Although I did have a discussion with someone earlier who suggested a system to where you could pick and choose certain aspects for Hardcore while still having that base hardcore template for the achievement, which in all aspects seems to be a good idea.

I don't think so...it's become an established part of the Fallout life.
