1 ReplyAll this IB I wanted fellwinters lie and 2 of my friends got them at least twice I got none. We ran VOG hard I got the vex and they didn't so I think things evened out in the long run

I totally feel for you. I had to join into the final checkpoint of VoG twice...[i]twice![/i]...to get my Mythoclast. I tell you those twelve minutes I spent watching other people play since I had fallen off the edge after the first teleport were some of the most taxing in my gaming life. Really makes you appreciate the loot all the more, y'know?

When I form teams, which I do a LOT, from the recruitment sections, and especially for VoG I always make it abundantly clear that my direction is the sole direction that should be followed, take lead/charge and give clear and proper direction to your mates and victory will be yours. Most the time, we finish without anyone complaining about the run or how it was directed. Most the time it runs smooth and on the first attempt. ... and most the time, we as a team kill the templar without teleport... which if you ask me is way more difficult for some then killing aethon.

How about some honesty: You did it to yourself. If a team takes more then 15 minutes per section, I seriously re-evaluate things and people that are on the team. I won't kick people, but i will give people a "what for" talking to, and either ask them to leave on their own or shape the fudge up. At most the VoG should only take approx 30-70 minutes. anything longer is just someone either trolling or too inexperienced for the level they are attempting to beat. (or attempting to be carried, which i have nothing against, just be up front with people and ask beforehand)

If your team doesn't work together then nothing gets done, having a clear and present leader helps too. Crying about someone getting something you want is juvenile. I watched the ghorns get passed out during nightfalls yesterday, none for me, but you don't see me crying I brought a mostly virgin team through both VoG and crota in two hours. Then ran 32 PoE with two of them in an hour. VoG: clean run to Gorgon chest, almost had a Templar teleport denial, lost two people and filled the slots, gatekeepers, one try, newbs took the relics, 3 attempts at Atheon. Exotics: red death x2, thunderlord, Gear: tons of armor, handful of weapons Crota: Nobody died in the abyss, minimal death at the bridge, one attempt at the death singer, two for crota. Exotics: hawkmoon Gear: swordbreaker, hunger, tons of armor Not my favorite thing to say but maybe, just maybe, you need to "git gud scrub" and quit crying cause life's not fair?
