For those complaining that it takes no skill to use thorn and/or final round, why don't you use it instead of complaining about it? Surely it would be that much more deadly with the skill you claim to have...

ARs were nerfed not because they were overused BUT the reason they were overused, which is that they were op compared to every other primary weapon class, making them the only viable primaries in pvp. Post AR nerf, you're seeing every primary class except for ARs cause they got nerfed to hell, but at least you have a choice in what gun you use. The problem now is that, Thorn and TLW are being overused for the same reason, they're op. And spears are just cheap as hell, especially when it's a whole team.

Exactly, usage stats are an indicator because people generally don't get together and arbitrarily decide to use the same weapon because it sucks ass, hence why Bungie and other developers base balancing on usage data. They could care less about forum input, people complain about the sky being blue on forums. When they look at the stats and notice some weapons are being over used in crucible then they'll get around to rebalancing, until then complaing is just wasting everyone's time and refusing to use said weapons is, in a sense, counterproductive.

True but not using it and complaining about it being OP shows that people have absolutely no clue how Bungie does weapon balancing. Bungie doesn't give two shit about people complaining about weapons in the forums, if they did then Xûr would sell gjallarhorn every week and the Thorn would grant heath back to the inflicted target... but in all seriousness, weapon balance decisions are based on usage data, so if you want it nerfed then it's better to put your ego aside and use it to lose it.
