It would make everyone op because in PvE you would be able to destroy any boss easily. Also in PvP you could take down anyone's shields. It's still a good idea though.

Also if they were to add it it could be only on exotics or even make it a rare ability on the raid legendaries or trial of Osiris

It's still a good idea though.[/quote] In pvp, elemental damage does nothing. Arc weapons do not destroy guardian shields any faster than any other element including kinetic damage.

I see what you said but at the same time a boss' shield would be tougher to take down because of the second element to the gun

I don't think element damage does anything in pvp. It really does bonuse damage on element shields and on burns.
