scenario 1: China
China are in a territorial dispute with smaller countries over the South China Sea (despite it's name, the other countries have legitimate claims to it). if it gets out of hand, America may get involved. China and America go to war.
Scenario 2: Russia
Putin continues to attack Ukraine and doesn't stop until Eastern Europe is entirely under his command. massive fighting breaks out in Europe.
Scenario 3: ISIS.
with Iraqi forces always running away from ISIS, there's not much keeping them in check. they successfully take over the entire middle east. ISIS launches a major terror attack, akin to a second 9/11 (disclaimer: I DON'T WANT THIS TO HAPPEN). America then goes to war against a massive ISIS continent.

Nukes aren't a solution

Oh yeah, because Japan gave up in WWII

Yea at a huge cost of lives and land, and those were just islands.

We're part of NATO now so that'd be impossible

Iraq used to be filled with christians there. Now because of those filthy Islamic people, only %1 is christian. I hate those people and hope the burn for eternity.

The problem there isn't less Christians, it's more Muslims
-
It never used to be that way.

Unlike al-queda, ISIS has an address. If stuff gets bad enough, America can just go full apeshit on them and turn their territory into an uninhabitable wasteland
-
Scenario 4. A combination of all three at the same time.
-
If that happened, the world would be -blam!-ed. Literally -blam!-ed.

It wouldn't be good, that's for sure.
