Halo 5 is good and may last longer than 4, but if 343 keeps their shit up then I see H5 only lasting 1 year which beats H4 by 6 months and MCC by 10 months.

Halo 5 is going to be Halo 5, a new take on the Halo universe that hopefully goes well. I01 is a tribute to older halo games. It's fine for you to like H5 a lot, but there's no need to be hostile about it.
