I've only played 2 MMOs in my life and this skolas battle takes the basics from a normal boss battle. you need the right equipment and then its mob management, avoiding close confrontations with the boss then laying hard DPS to the boss. there is more strat to it but that is the basics. just be sure to break the servitor bonds first and foremost before mobs spawn. weapons of light and maxed void snipers help immensely.

this is a good explanation of it and i already knew this. however with the amount of tier 2 enemies that like to make my weapons look like pea shooters this becomes quite difficult

oh I won't disagree with you there. they are intensely more annoying to kill. we have to rotate between the 2 high ground platforms a lot and try to thin out the mobs over and over again. the snipers are stupid rough when your caught off guard. trading off the tainted light makes it even more difficult but I do have to say if you get with 2 fun players, it really helps relieve the stress and frustration. I had a blast even if we died or wiped.
