You're theory is disproven by the Grimore.
Most died. Only unknown is Toland. I don't know what ludicrous notion filled your head to get the idea that Speaker and Xur were apart of her fireteam
"Eris Morn's fireteam consisted of 2 hunters ( Sai Mota and Omar Agah ) , 3 warlocks ( Eriana 3, Toland the Shattered and herself ) and one titan ( Vell Tarlowe ).
Anyways... The fireteam reached the doors to Crota's Temple.
Vell Tarlowe fell and was overwhelmed by hive and was killed by a witch named Verok.
The fireteam continued on without him.
In Crota's Temple, Sai Mota and Eriana 3 were separated from Eris Morn, Omar Agah and Toland the Shattered.
Omar Agah became lost in the shadows and could not find Eris or Toland. They presumed that Omar had been captured and was killed.
Sai Mota and Eriana 3 were hunting down Omnigul but were ambushed by Omnigul and other hive. Eriana and Sai killed most of the hive and Omnigul had appeared to have fled. Using acolyte's bones they began to climb a steep cliff to find cover. Eriana made it to the top of the cliff and Mota was following (almost to the top), when Omnigul reappeared and spotted Mota. Omnigul then shot at her and Mota fell to her death. Eriana 3 was driven with rage and attempted to kill the witch in a rage of fury. It is unknown exactly how, but she did not succeed and was killed by Omnigul.
Eris Morn and Toland the Shattered then parted because Toland wanted to do find out more about the Deathsinger's song.
Eris Morn stumbled upon Omar Agah, (thought to be dead) being tortured by a witch. His light was being stripped from him and was feeding the heart of Crota and other hive spawn.
Eris was unable to save Omar and then began to try to find her way out of the hive tunnels, back to the surface. After many months, or even years, she finally escaped the tunnels of Crota's realm and arrived at the tower.
•••Eris Morn's light was taken from her, giving her a dark appearance. From the strange liquids and gases in the hive tunnels she has transformed into the look of a hive creature, having 3 eyes and black veins.
•••Toland the Shattered is still not known to be alive or dead. His location and condition are not known"
I don't take credit for this
All of these names are pulled from Grimore cards, most of which are the exalted Hive ones that came with TDB

one problem I have, what made Crota sleep? Something Eris did should have made it so.
-
Or he slept on his own accord? Why does she have to be responsible? They didn't even make it to him.
-
Fair enough, but do you think Toland is still alive because I doubt the Darkness would speak to him unless it had some intention of using him to destroy us.
-
He could or could not be. He went after the Deathsinger. He either learned her song or died listening to it.
-
Bump, but Eris Morn is actually a hunter in the Grimoire.
-
Eris is a Warlock, a Bungie employee said so in an interview. I can't remember who. But someone did note "Hunter" and "hunter" are different because all classes are capitalized, while 'hunter" was referring to what they were doing at the time. They were hunting Crota
-
But... she wears Lucky Raspberry. And the Cloak of the Dusktorn.
-
Ah ok
-
Where did you get this story from bud?
-
Another forum user who pieced Grimore cards together
-
Eris is actually a hunter
-
I was under the impression that the Grimoire pointed to Eris being a Hunter.
-
Edited by Aqua: 6/7/2015 5:26:14 PMEris was a hunter, but not a Hunter(Classes capitalized).
-
No reviving? Look at Eris being all hipster by playing hard mode before it was cool

Yep. OP went full spazz. Never go full spazz.
-
Does it say where Osiris died, or did it just say he got lost?
-
Osiris wasn't apart of Eris's fireteam
-
Osiris was supposedly exiled for his blasphemous ideologies. He may make a return with some of his disciples popping up to offer the challenge of the trials, but for now no one knows his for sure location.
-
If you visit the lighthouse, there's a room to the right...dead like of bones and a dead vex. Thsts just my theory though
-
Yep, saw it, it is confirmed he studied the vex, and if you read the grimoire for the lighthouse it seems to hint that osiris or his followers may still be there.
-
Followers yes
-
Yeah Osiris was exiled for having a vex fetish. He became obsessed with them like Toland became obsessed with the Hive. Theres a good chance Osiris has actually mastered a bit of Vex tech.
-
Actually he was exiled for coming to close to the Vex.
