After reading this I decided to put it to the test. I put my Thorn on the shelf this afternoon when I took one of my secondary characters into the iron banner. I went with my hunter (which I'm not as experienced with), Venation III, Invective, and an old Deviant Gravity. I proceeded to go on a tear, finishing with positive k/ds and on occasion leading.l am by no means a great pvp player but I was doing better without using the Thorn. This served to confirm my belief that its not the weapon, its the person wielding it. Thanks again, Sols, for another thought provoking post. Edit for spelling
