If I cut my dik off, install fake tits, and change my name, does that make me a woman?
No. It doesn't. My genes and anatomy are male. Bruce is still Bruce. There's nothing "courageous" about denying what you truly are. It's none of my business what anyone does, but people like him need serious psychiatric help.
I wonder how long it'll take for these sorts of opinions to die out and become fringe...

Edited by Tiber of Astora: 6/7/2015 11:43:15 PMThere was a time when people knew cutting your dik off was insane. You can be whoever the hell you want, but people like Bruce need psychiatric help.

Pretty sure she got professional help and was recommended for HRT and surgery and the like. I didn't really know Jenner until everyone started talking about her and I don't much care now, but I do find it a bit amusing at how judgmental people are about something that doesn't affect them. Apparently it being possible to have a mismatched gender and sex is beyond some people, but in the end, this too shall pass.

*Facepalm.* HE HAS A DIK! Dik=Born a M.A.L.E. MALE!
Fuk modern society. We've come to the point where we've abandoned our morals so much that we can't call things out as they are. You're right. It doesn't involve me and is none of my business, but when people begin glorifying psychologically ill people like him...
I think you should probably educate yourself on the subject a bit more before calling trans people mentally ill. There are some pretty comprehensive and easy-to-read-and-understand articles and journals on the subject, and there are also a few involving studying the white matter of deceased trans people and how certain areas actually match up with their preferred sex.

Edited by Tiber of Astora: 6/8/2015 1:19:11 AM*Gauges out eyes.* He was born with a D.I.C.K. Do you even?... Ahhhh! Fuk this. I'm done. My jimmies are effectively rustled.
-
I'm not trying to rustle your jimmies but I guess you just can't get past the genital thing. I suppose I'm kind of biased since I'm trans too, but I don't feel crazy; I'm rational enough.
-
Not crazy, m8. Just... *Sigh.* It's best if you just accept who you are. At least in my eyes. There's no reason to feel as if you need to change how you were made. I'm not sure what's in your head, nor do I know what environment you were raised in, but know that you are perfect as you are. That's just my open onion. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
-
I have accepted who I am, and that also includes my brain. I've accepted that I'd likely be mildly miserable living the rest of my life as male and less miserable if I were female. I've felt this way since I was very little and the drive to transition hasn't lessened, so... Yeah. Agree to disagree, I guess.

Technically he can change his name to Caitlyn but you're right. Y chromosomes don't lie.
