Should unvaccinated people be segregated and quarantined?

Yes

No

It's an extreme measure, sure, but if vaccination rates continue to fall it might become necessary to keep the rest of us safe. Once they've been vaccinated they can then re-enter society.

  • No. We will make them get vaccinated or we will fine them. A lot of money. That will go towards vaccine education.
unless of course they're allergic to something in the vaccine, but there are lots of vaccines out there that are formulated differently.
Not vaccinating your kids is, like, seriously dumb.

              •
#Zombies
Anyway, I agree with Bill Gates on this topic. A virus or disease like the Spanish Flu will be a big hit on us in the future. Vaccines should be mandatory, but some Americans will preach about their freedoms being infringed. I don't think segregation is necessary unless given reason, like an outbreak that vaccinated people are immune to but not others.

No, this is what I would do IN A HYPOTHETICAL SITUATION. If the parents choose not to vaccinate their child, and said child dies from some virus with a known vaccine. Charge them for murder 1, no way you'll get a conviction but it will scare the hell out of them and society. You can then easily cut a deal for involuntary manslaughter, for a lesser punishment. If they want to fight it, charge them with the same crime with full sentencing. You can easily convict them of involuntary manslaughter. The parents actions were not to intend to kill their child, but the child died a preventable death anyway. From a virus that we know is fatal, that had a known vaccine. No quarantine needed just let them die, and charge the negligent parents. With enough convictions the vaccination rate will rise.
As previously stated this is HYPOTHETICAL situation. So I won't be responding to this. However there is always someone out there who will argue about this, and there is always someone out there that will take the bait. When this happens, I still won't respond. I'll be too busy eating popcorn.
Oh and uhh zombies... so yeah... not taking this post srsly guise.

                • Uh no I mean yeah everyone should be vaccinated but to separate the unvaccinated and vaccinated people is going a little too far Besides Pretty much nobody even thinks that vaccines cause autism anymore

Only in a large outbreak. The antivaccination, and the backlash to it, has made things difficult, socially speaking, for anybody who has had an actual adverse reaction to vaccines and has a legitimate reason to avoid them. Not to mention, most doctors are not scientists, and have a lot to lose financially if vaccine rates actually fall significantly. So, there's no way they could propose a biased argument at all.
