You realize that like 95% of the time they just simply have bad connection. I sometimes have a red bar connection and I can't really do anything about it. Even some cases, you too get bad connection. I use an Ethernet cable and I do have my times that my connection is taking a piss. You can't report someone based on a simply flaw you see
I am glad that lag switchers and being banned but we can't tell that someone is just "lag switching". We all know that when you do, you are frozen on the screen to everyone and you can run around and do whatever. Well, sometimes the game does this. When I have a bad connection, I don't know how other people sees me but for me, EVERYONE is standing still. I literally cannot damage anyone. And when I look at the connection, it is always mine. But is it the same for other people? Because it seems like they take me down just fine.
You can't determine wether one is lag switching or not. And you can't really just "report" someone because you think they are, for all you know they might just be having a really bad day.

I report anyways. Bungie can look at it if they want. Regardless, sucks to have someone with a bad connection or lag switching, hopping all over the damn place.

Doesn't hurt to report. If their not cheating, awesome. But it brings them to bungies attention.

Edited by PizzaMan725: 6/5/2015 12:51:19 PMThere is a report button just for bad connection. It may not lead to a ban but if enough pile up Bungie can look at them and see if something is going on or not. Maybe not a perfect solution, but it is a tricky thing to pin down.

You can't, but bungie can, by dropping the report it doesn't hurt them or you and bungie can weed out the cheaters from those with shit internet.
