Nerf or remove Gjallarhorn!
For too long the Gjallarhorn has been a crutch for PvE players! All I can see on the recruitment channel LFG's is 'must have maxed out Gjallarhorn' it's been this way for quite some time! Bungie need to step up, either nerf this weapon or even better the addition of new go to weapons with a slight increase in drop rate. There needs to be more variation, similarly just as PvP has Thorn, PvE has the Gjallarhorn. Why are we being forced into using these 'go to' weapons! Good job Bungie!
This may look like a whine post (and you might be right) but you know deep down I'm stating a legitimate fact!

I'm glad you don't have one in fact I think it would be just too powerful for you. but feel free to see me surfing my sparrow across the desert planes of Mars with my pants around my ankles and a gally on each shoulder shouting WHO WANTS IT.

Thunderlord is a better gun overall than Ghorn. The only thing that needs to be done is making sure 3x Ghorn cant bypass the trials of PoE 34 and 35 by just burning the boss. That is unfair to the general player base and beyond what the content developers envisioned I am sure. The boss fights should be like the raid battles where Ghorn helps but you still have to go through the steps to complete the boss fights.

For reals. 3000.hours played and no gjallarhorn? My buddies girlfriends brother bought the game yesterday and already has gjallarhorn. First -blam!-ing nightfall. My buddy gets one every single crucible he runs. It's crazy. I quit.

Edited by LukeDSwag: 6/5/2015 10:05:35 PMThe gjallarhorn is meant to deal a large amount of single target damage via cluster tracking, it only works as a boss killer due to that exotic perk. I would have to assume that was how it's meant to be used so no nerf is needed, besides if bungie was considering that we probably would have heard about it a while ago. I only say that because it's been a known thing that it's a major output of damage.
