Why not just go to Venus where's there's only 3 and locations and two of which can be seen from the same line of sight? Sounds like you're making things harder for yourself by going to a place with more locations for chests. If your problem is with how Venus looks i can't help you.

My problem is that ether keys have taken the fun out of patrolling. I just don't want to do it any more.

It has come to my attention that in a lot of cases what Bungie thinks is fun and entertaining is far from it. Personally I think a lot of what Bungie does is designed to be annoying. One thing that I find extremely annoying is their penchant for sticking it to the lone wolf, forcing them to play multi player stuff to continue the game when it would be just as easy to make it so the lone wolf could continue along their merry way. But nooooooooooooooo evidently Bungie think they know better than anybody what people should like. Before I ever spend anymore money with Bungie they will have to show a desire to please that segment of the market as well.
