Shotguns effective range is further than a fusion rifle. If you're a shot gunner with blink you know why you use that set up. Where does the fusion rifle play against a blinking shot gunner? I challenge all guardians to use the fusion rifle for 5 games and see how your K/D shifts.

1 ReplyI feel like the last patch reverting fusions to its nerfed position was a bad move. I was actually starting to see some different load outs and since fusions can counter shotgunners, it was great. Now, we're back to the blink shotgunners and its absolutely horrendous.

I remember when fusion rifles were actually good :(. Honestly before all the nerfs, Destiny was pretty balanced for me. Could use any type of gun (except pulse rifles) and do good damage to people. The only think that sucked in Vanilla Destiny were pre buffed juju and thorn. And the Pocket infinity was a tad OP, but nothing like the complaints the Thorn gets these days.

7 RepliesThey're kind of forcing shotgun/sniper gameplay really. Didnt mind getting killed by fusions before this recent patch but now that fusions are worse shotguns will be even more common (as if they werent already)

9 RepliesFusion rifles were accidently nerfed in the last update. To use them now would be to willing use them while they have been temporarily nerfed. Aka, it's ignorant to use them right now. (Ignorance is just the lack of information. So no worries, it's not an insult. I'm sure you just missed the weekly update where they talk about that)

1 ReplyI manage to wreck face pretty good with my Praetorian Foil. Plus I feel a smug sense of satisfaction in killing people with a semi-rare drop weapon. Also fun to kill peeps with a Hardlight. I.E. You suck so bad an auto-rifle killed your Thorn using scrub ass. At least that's what I imagine in my head lol. P.S. I am a Crucible Scrub too.

2 RepliesFrom someone who exclusively used them before the Nerf I can tell you they are trash now.... If you want to do well with a fusion you need these perks, hidden hand, perfect bal....ance, and range finder on a fusion that already has good range, and impact.. Good luck getting that...

Wow just played my blade dancer with blink and some random shotgun I got from crucible and wrecked the whole team in multiple occurrences. Nerf my jump n shotgun bungie it's too much.
