They need to acknowledge the City somehow. This is the biggest empty space in the game for me. The whole point of everything we do is to protect the City, and we don't even know anything about it.
They should also open up more of the map. Places that are open for activities should also be open for patrol.
And it's time for those third subclasses.
Their track record with adding new weapons and gear is pretty solid, that's the least of my concerns.
Edit: And at least one new planet. That's a must. Even beautiful design gets old when you've been in the same few areas for hours on end.

Mercury will probably become available to everyone as I suspect the lighthouse will become the social space for organizing private/custom crucible matches

if it's mercury we will see alot of vex there. i want to see a new race. enemy variation isn't that great. not really new enemies in both dlcs, just minimal variation of types we already have. i want new enemies and types for the certain race with a new dlc. the upcoming major dlc should have new enemies for each race + a whole new race. i mean on earth there is fallen and hive, on moon it's the same :( , on venus it's fallen and vex and on mars it's vex and cabal. see the point? there's nothing new since launch they just copied enemies (esp. fallen, hive and vex and spread them on other planets and they're done. in short terms it's ok on long terms it's unsatisfying (at least for me). that's why i want new planets and races so bad. in the beta i thought ok every dlc will have a new planet and probably a new race, well i was so wrong, unfortunately.

I want a new planet as well but I'd honestly be ok with a second zone on the existing places.....not an expanded cosmodrome but another environment altogether. ...maybe that old Chicago thing that was rumored for example

It's just a city, what is there to learn?
-
Destiny 2, 3, 4 etc etc etc
-
The cards say the story about the city.
-
Bump Frankly they need to elaborate on every aspect of the game's setting - from inside the game.
-
Yeah, Destiny has a really cool story, but almost none of it is presented in game.
