Yep, it's all about playing Destiny the way Bungie want you to play. Players like to shoot enemies in the loot cave - Bungie patches that out. Players love using auto rifles - Bungie nerfs them to hell. Players use strategies to defeat Atheon and the Templar - Bungie changes things to negate those strategies. Players find they can repeatedly get rewards from the same Ether chest - Bungie patches that out. Too many players walking around wearing the same high level gear - Bungie gives you the ability to max out your old gear and to make sure you do that, they make the new HoW gear fugly. ;-)
