My character's Bio
vvvvv
His name is Jeremiah. He is a well trained Myrmidon. All his life he has observed that everything seems based around luck. Because of this, he often takes bets and fights in arenas for money. Sometimes he even leaves crucial life decisions up to the flip of a coin, or the roll of a die. He is also good at dual wielding pistols, for melee combat is not enough to handle all types of enemies. (Myrmidon is a class that is known for master swordplay and being very fast. They also rely highly on luck.) (His stats would be high speed, below average health and damage, high crit chance, and very high evade chance.)

this character was inspired by Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones's Joshua, by the way.

Love the reference to luck {Myrmidon's had the highest luck in the game, if I remember correctly}, and the speed, and then the downgrade to other stuff {health, damage etc.}. High critical, damn, that was the only reason I ever used em.

so OP in sacred stones. Dodged every attack.
Edited by Alonfé: 6/6/2015 1:29:26 AM
They got more weak in comparison as the FE's went, though, in Radiant Dawn, Edward couldn't take or dodge shit at a certain point, the enemy was just too good. And in Rekka no Ken, they were good at the beginning, but only good later on if you power-train them. Personal favourite character would be... Shinon, Archer from Radiant Dawn and Pent, Sage from Rekka no Ken

Oh, and Athos

And Ike...

And if you include Kakusei, then The Avatar (your character)
Edited by Murph Tha Smurf: 6/6/2015 1:32:45 AM
i haven't played radiant dawn or path of radiance :(, but I'm in the process of emulating my old wii so I can.

in awakening, chrom and lucina made much better myrmidons than Lon'que.
-
You do know that Chrom and Lucina are considered Lords, right? That is a separate class altogether, can only wield swords (and lances once ranked up), and have moderate everything. They weren't Myrmidons. And Say'ri is the best Swordmaster, and I would still consider that under a Myrmidon classification, since it's a ranked up one. The only game a lord could use something other than a sword and spear was FE Rekka no Ken, and it was Hector who used an ax. I never played Path of Radiance either, just played Radiant Dawn lol
Edited by Murph Tha Smurf: 6/6/2015 2:11:03 AM
im aware they are lords but they seemed to get more crits than the myrmidons and have more "Classic Myrmidon" qualities. That's what I was meaning. Like seriously lucina had almost a 50% crit chance for me.

also, Ephraim in sacred stones was a lance wielding lord.
-
Oh yeah, whoops. Only played from FE7, that's it. Haven't played anything before Rekka no Ken. And yeah, Lucina was a bit more on the myrmidon side than others, but Chrom is definitely a lord, in qualities as well. In Kakusei, Donnel is my best person. Yes, Donnel. A powertrained Villager will max out on stats, then you rank it up to a mercenary, it'll max out again, then hero, and max out again. They level up extremely fast too. For me, Donnel is my one man army.
Edited by Murph Tha Smurf: 6/6/2015 3:43:26 AM
sacred stones was after Rekka no ken I believe. (It was gba and seemed to have updated mechanics) you could easily emulate on a phone or something it if you wanted to. Of the three I've played its my favorite. Maybe because it's the one I grew up on though.

and I agree. "Trainees" like donnel are super OP. In sacred stones there was a spear girl, an axe guy, and a mage kid that were all similar to donnel. (Weak start, really good if you put in the work)
I got Sacred Stones for my computer, in the middle of downloading Genology of the Holy War 2 as well
-
But it was a bugged download, so I stopped it. (geanology of the Holy war, not Sacred stones)
-
yup, then there's always that OP guy you get at the beginning, like Frederick, that sucks later on. Since they downgrade his stats to make him not OP at the beginning, it makes him really bad later on unless you change his class near the beginning. And Sacred Stones, right? I'll try to find it on the web to see if I can get it for my iPod or even computer. I would play it, though, any FE game I can play I will.
-
Edited by Murph Tha Smurf: 6/6/2015 5:57:25 PM
yeah. Sacred stones kinda broke that rule. I've heard it called Seth Emblem: Seth Stones, because he can stay relevantly strong into the late game even though he is your OP starter. That said, everyone else can become more OP than him. It was really easy to grind in sacred stones. example: my general was usually immune to magic, even though it's meant to be their weakness. And my knight had almost equal dodge to my Pegasus knight.

anyway, I hope you can find it. Joshua was my favorite character.
The emulator won't save my game though... made it to Ch.2 then quit, then came back and it says start new game... Any ideas how to fix that? I'm using Nesbox Emulator
-
I don't know... Never used that emulator. I just use gba4ios on my phone.
-
I'm using VBA now, it works better. It saves now too, so I'm good. But now I need to start at Prologue again ;~;
-
Edited by Murph Tha Smurf: 6/7/2015 8:35:19 PMBro, I went through that one on hard with a special challenge: If anyone died, I didn't reset the level. If I got a game over, I restarted the game. I have the prologue memorized. Edit: I'm actually trying to get my emulator back so I can play it again.
-
Lol I did find it and I'm playing it right now!!!
-
Edited by Murph Tha Smurf: 6/6/2015 6:18:06 PM:D I really liked fighting certain bosses with certain units for special dialogue in that one.

Sounds fair enough. You pass the test. I'll start on physical character stats soon.
