More Strength?
Just how much strength does Variks think warlocks (Or, apparently any class) need, exactly?
Arms: Strength
Chest: Strength
now we have the helmet: MOAR strength.
EDIT: And now, to complete the set, LEGS...with, you guessed it, strength!
I hope this is really just crappy luck of the draw here...because I'm beginning to question whether or not Intellect or Discipline is in Variks's vocabulary...

Seems like the intended design was to give you some temporary armor to lvl up on so you could acquire etheric light to put on the armor of your choice later imo

This is intentional. To get armor with better stat rolls, you spend a Judgment's Chance to get said armor. Variks sells the worst possible variants of armor/weapons.

Making us use Strength armour is a ploy to get us to actually run around killing shit to generate orbs, so we earn our supers....same goes for adding Trickle. As a defender titan on max Strength, I'm generating a shit ton of orbs almost constantly, using disintegrate. Awesome when Brawler is the modifier.

Just use judgement pack and u can get same or similar armor but with int or discipline

This entire prison of elders is an absolute farce. It seems like every piece of this was done to make us grind even more than before. I mean armor is useless unless you just like being an ugly strong guardian. The weapons are also laughable from the color to useless perks like shank burn. I have not seen anything yet that makes me want to play this past level 32 and I only played that for the armor. I later realize that this armor only serves one purpose which is making us feel good seeing 34 on our screen.

Exactly, it's like they don't want you to use the only 42 non exotic armor and be forced to up a regular piece or as somebody already said wait another month for armor to cycle through with different stats that don't make a juice head guardian.

Bungie is banking on everyone buying a full set and then next couple weeks he will change stats and people will want to buy that one as well. Just a tactic to get us to play more poe. My opinion anywhoo.
